You can't get any closer to the action of a working fishing harbor without actually being on the boat. This quaint little fisherman's cottage is at the edge of a local lobsterman's wharf with wonderful views overlooking Decker's Cove, and the Southport Bridge. You can enjoy your morning cup of coffee on the elevated deck watching the local fishermen departing on their daily trip to trap lobsters. And if your looking for a lobster feed, you won't get them any fresher than right off the boat, dock side.
If you are an artist looking for that premium vantage point, this is the
spot. There is a built in drawing table inside the second floor picture
window looking out over the harbor. Or bring your easel to set up on the
deck or on the waterfront. A perfect angle for the photographer as well. |
